How is it going with your host family?
The host family continues to be wonderful. The other day we celebrated
the birthday of my father, grandmother and brother. We had three
cakes! It was lots of fun, but very exhausting. My little brother and
I went out the day before and bought them all gifts.

How is it going in school?
It is going well, the grades are going up and I am finally
understanding most of what the teachers say in class (most of it being
in Valenciano). I have only one more week of school and then I leave
for my rotary Europe trip. When I return there are only four days left
of school.

How is your health? Very good.

Tell me about any Rotary activities you have had or not had.
Last Thursday night my host mother and I went to a rotary meeting and
dinner. It is an all male club and they were all very open and fun to
talk to. The dinner went on until late (as most Spanish dinners do).
They gave my host mother and I CDs of the history of rotary and their
newest plan which is water therapy for infants.

Been on any trips or outings?
Nothing new comes to mind, but I am very much looking forward to
traveling with Rotary around Europe.

Any problems you want to tell me about?
No problems.

What else is going on?
This is the beginning of the end, and it is somewhat sad. Seeing as I
will be missing the last month of school, I finish school in about a
week. It is going to be weird changing my whole life around again.

I have been having a wonderful year!!!
